Time to get some pictures of the Patootie-Pumpkin litter before they go to their new homes! This sounds like an easy enough thing, but there is a certain technique, you see. You can’t take pictures right after a meal, because at that point they’re all zipping around and all you get are pictures of blurs. The timing has to be right, somewhere between “Rocket” and “Nap/coma.”
Smudge made it easy by just sitting on top of the cat tree and holding still.
Spot! Just hold still for one… more… second. Okay, the real trick is to take a lot of pictures, because the one you thought came out good and looks great on the little camera LCD turns out to be blurry when you look at it on the computer.
It was so much harder in the old days when we made web sites by taking Polaroids, gluing them up on pasteboard and pointing a webcam at them. Okay, I made have made that one up. We actually chiseled the web sites into stone tablets.
Notspot (a.k.a Spotless, a.k.a. Dash) was about thirty seconds from a nap when I took this.
