Sweet Pea gave birth to three kittens on December 7th, 2025. Mycroft, the father, publicly denies responsibility, but we did overhear him bragging to the other boys about his “prodigious swimmers.” Make of that what you will.
The kittens are doing well. They are very active and quickly mastered the litter box with minimal “thinking outside the box.” They are very curious and run to greet us when we enter their room, often climbing up our legs (Tiny claws, ow ow ow!). There have been a few attempted escapes from their quarantine (they don’t meet the other cats in the house until after their first vaccinations), but were easily apprehended.
We named them Sally, Dick, and Jane because we already did a Jack, Janet, and Chrissy litter in 2018, and that was the next “two girls and a boy ” thing we thought of.
