Ashley gave birth to five very hungry kittens this morning. She did very well for her first time and seems to be taking to motherhood well.
The pale kitten on the end is a rare albino Maine Coon, said to have been prized as good luck totems by the ancient Vikings who colonized North America. Okay, I made that up. The kitten is likely a red silver. No doubt the other kittens in the litter will tease it and tell it that it was adopted, but really it’s just genetics.
