Pippi’s kittens continue their progression from tiny fur blobs to enormous fur blobs. At this stage they resemble fuzzy potatoes and we start kicking around names like “Russet,” “Yukon Gold,” and “Idaho.” Then we remember our personal ban on naming kittens after food and wait for some other inspiration. Five of these kittens are reserved.

Ashley is due to give birth to six kittens this week! It could be seven (it depends on if you are counting skulls or spines), but we are sure about seeing at least six on the X-ray: Update: Everyone who has looked at this since we posted it says “seven.” Of these, five are reserved!
